COAST³ – Start for digital twin

The consortium formed under the leadership of BEHALA met in person for the first time in Berlin on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024 with all five consortium partners at Berlin’s Westhafen with the funding provider and officially started the project. The consortium consists of the following companies:

• BEHALA – Berliner Hafen- und Lagerhausgesellschaft mbH
• Technical University of Berlin – Department of Information and Communication Management
• Konrad Zippel Spediteur GmbH & Co. KG
• 4PL Intermodal GmbH
• International Transfer Center for Logistics (ITCL) GmbH

The funding body presented and explained the framework conditions and objectives to the participants. All consortium members introduced themselves personally to the employees assigned to the project and explained their strengths and objectives.

The BEHALA site was then presented in a short tour including comments from the respective site manager. This resulted in an active and interesting question and answer session related to the project.
