Internship at 4PL – Insidestory

I did my internship in IT system integration at 4PL Intermodal GmbH. I was able to become part of the team during my two-week internship and was able to gain a very positive and instructive experience.

The company 4PL Intermodal offers an excellent working environment with a professional and supportive team.
From the very beginning, I was warmly welcomed and given the opportunity to deepen my knowledge in practical applications. The IT team, in particular, has consistently supported me and contributed to my further development.

During my internship, I was given new, exciting tasks every day. I was able to learn a lot about handling hardware components such as hard drives, power supplies, RAM, and motherboards, and I actively participated in the maintenance and assembly of PCs.

I also worked intensively with network technology – from IP configuration to setting up LAN and WLAN connections. A particularly interesting part of my internship was working with Linux servers and the introduction to virtualization with Hyper-V. This taught me important fundamentals of modern server administration.

I’m very grateful for my time at 4PL-Intermodal and the opportunity to learn so much in such a short time. A big thank you to the entire team for their support, trust, and friendly cooperation.

I can highly recommend an internship at 4PL- Intermodal GmbH – especially in the IT area.

At our request, our intern Mohammad M., 16, in his 10th year at the Rotenburg Vocational School (BBS), wrote down his experiences on his last day of work.
