Vessel Tracker modules – expansion to include three new port locations

Our Vessel Tracker is being expanded to include three additional port locations: Helsinki, Gdańsk and Piraeus. This further increases transparency along maritime and intermodal transport chains.

Container ships are tracked hourly based on their exact position and always displayed at their last known location. At the same time, the planned arrival times at the scheduled quay operations are continuously updated and logged.

Transparency from ship to hinterland

Based on this highly up-to-date data, intermodal bookings can be monitored and updated fully automatically in terms of their timing. The module creates a direct, mutual dependency between container ships and quay operations – the basis for the smooth coordination of all corresponding hinterland activities.

Import and export bookings with intermodal operators are continuously checked for operational and temporal connectivity.

Early intervention through intelligent dashboards

Clear dashboards help dispatchers identify deviations early on and take targeted action. This allows transport chains to be actively secured before delays have an impact on downstream processes.

Updated hourly – accurate and reliable

The hourly update mechanisms are precise enough to:

  • Changes to arrival and departure times
  • resulting shifts in quay operations management
  • and their impact on intermodal transport

reliably recorded and transparently presented.
