Digital Trade Venture Estonia and Latvia

In cooperation with the BMWI, 4PL intermodal and 7 other companies are interested in cooperation and business expansion in the Baltic States of Estonia and Latvia. Experts from ports and logistics in the Baltic States were “met” via video conferences on the topic of sustainable mobility and logistics as well as port expansion.

Rail Baltica is a greenfield railway infrastructure project with the aim of integrating the Baltic States into the European railway network. The project covers five European Union countries – Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and indirectly Finland. It will connect Helsinki, Tallinn, Pärnu, Riga, Panevežys, Kaunas, Vilnius and Warsaw. The Baltic part of the Rail Baltica project is called the global Rail Baltica project.

4PL Intermodal offers with its software solution IMSLOT and its Modules the possibility to improve the knowledge about reliable intermodal connections from/to/via Central Europe and the Baltic States.

Therefore, we took the opportunity to get in touch with the intermodal actors of the region for the first time. Supported, arranged and hosted by AHP International we successfully introduced ourselves to more than 50 companies in groupings and bilateral meetings.

Organised by the AHP International and supported by the FEDERAL MINISTRY OF ECONOMICS AND ENERGY from Germany, the Mittelstand Global Bafa initiative and Gateway Partners we were warmly welcomed as delegates. We were provided with first-hand information and insights about the economy in question.
