Distance matrices represent the second way of accessibility from a location. In general, a service provider uses such a matrix to determine which areas a truck should approach. Each distance matrix is given a name so that you can refer to it later. The start address plays an important role and represents the center of the distance matrix. The start address must be embodied by an infrastructure location so that another transport can reach this area. In addition to the infrastructure location, a distance matrix consists of a list of associated locations from the IMSLOT location list. Like the direct journey, the distance matrix is also created by the intermodal provider and booked by the freight payer.
